Liverpool is a metropolitan city situated near the river Mersey. It was founded as a borough and got city status in 1880. It is the fourth largest city in the United Kingdom and has a population of 435,500. Earlier, a part of Lancashire, the modernization has brought Liverpool as a landmark in the United Kingdom.
During my visit to Liverpool I enjoyed lots of things here. The city has carved out a major port. If you will search for restaurants, then you will find most of the restaurants in Liverpool City Centre. The restaurants are famous for the excellent quality of food and exemplary kind of customer service.
During the Second World War, there were 80 air strikes on Merseyside, killing almost 2,500 people and damaging half of the homes in the metropolitan area. At that there was immediate reconstruction of Liverpool City Centre which resulted into a flawed construction
Today, it is home to many offices and restaurants that give visitors a decent dining experience at very many affordable costs.
